How much does a cake cost?
The answer to this question varies a great deal depending on the design of your cake, its flavour, number of servings, and many other factors. Because of this, quotations cannot be provided immediately over the phone. For a quotation, please fill out the contact form, and I will respond with pricing information, usually within 24 hours. If more information is required, you will be contacted.
What flavours are available?
Because all cakes are baked to order, a wide range of flavours is possible. Some commonly-requested flavours are listed below, but please feel free to ask if you are interested in something you do not see here:

Please note that not all cake/filling/frosting combinations will be possible with all cakes.
What sets your cakes apart from others'?
Good question! Firstly, I bake my cakes from 'scratch' using fresh ingredients - not from a cake mix. You might be surprised by how many decorators use boxed mixes as the base for their cakes. While there is nothing wrong with cake mix, the taste and texture of a fresh, homemade cake is preferred by most people.
Secondly, I use Swiss Meringue Buttercream for frosting and decorating. My recipe includes only real butter, no vegetable shortening or margarine. The taste and texture are light, fluffy, and sweet. Not all
decorators use real buttercream. Many use a combination of shortening and icing sugar that, while perfectly acceptable to most children, is often too sweet for adults.
And finally, I will do my very best to ensure that the cake you envision for your special event is brought to life. Because I am not busy running a bakery, I am able to give you one-on-one, personalized attention for every cake. A sweet sixteen or first birthday cake can be every bit as important as a wedding cake, and I would love to work with you to create a one-of-a-kind dessert that will be eaten quickly but remembered for years to come.
Do you deliver cakes?
Absolutely. Delivery is always provided for wedding cakes and other tiered cakes, as they may require setup at the venue. For all other cakes, delivery, or pickup in Brampton, is available.
Delivery times from Monday to Friday can be arranged in the evenings. On weekends and holidays, delivery can be arranged all day. Depending on the area for delivery, a surcharge may apply. Please inquire about this when you request a quotation.
What about allergies?
It is very important that you notify me of any food allergies at the time of your order, as even if the ingredients used in my baking do not contain the offending allergen, some products I use may have.
This is especially true for those with a nut allergy. While I can provide cakes made without nuts or nut products, I cannot guarantee that any of my cakes will not have come into contact with nuts or nut products. If you are highly allergic to nuts, I would advise you not to consume my cakes, just to be on the safe side!
